Convenient ShopRite with a good selection of fresh produce, bakery items, and everyday groceries. Prices are fair, store is usually clean and well-organized. Checkout can be a bit slow when busy, but overall solid shopping experience.
The staff at this store are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I've asked for assistance on multiple occasions, and have received accurate answers without hesitation. I'm impressed by the mastery each associate has of the store layout. Be careful shopping here if you have a sweet tooth: the bakery section has things that i didn't even know i was craving until i saw them.
I came to ShopRite as an unemployed former Key Food shopper, which means two things: 1. I have time, and 2. I am emotionally invested in prices. Walking in feels like upgrading from “corner store survival mode” to big-box grocery gladiator arena. The doors open slowly, like ShopRite is saying, “Are you sure? Because once you’re in, you’re in.” Now let’s address the produce department, because that’s where ShopRite really flexes. Half the produce looks like it just finished a professional photoshoot—shiny apples, confident peppers, grapes that clearly moisturize. The other half looks like it’s been unemployed longer than me. Avocados are either hard enough to qualify as building materials or already going through something emotionally. No middle ground. And the misting system? Completely unhinged. It goes off whenever it wants, lightly spraying you like, “Welcome. You belong here now.” Coming from Key Food, I wasn’t prepared for the scale of this place. Aisles go on forever. I blacked out somewhere between cereal and canned beans and came back holding things I never planned to buy. The carts all have one wheel that refuses to cooperate, so you’re unemployed and fighting physics the whole time. Aisle behavior is lawless. Someone is parked sideways reading ingredient labels like they’re studying for finals. A full family meeting is happening in front of the pasta. You’ll say “excuse me” so many times it becomes a personality trait. The music? Emotional whiplash. One minute it’s a sad song reminding you you’re unemployed, the next it’s an upbeat pop anthem convincing you everything is fine and you deserve name-brand snacks. And honestly? I listen. Checkout is where destiny laughs at you. I always choose the wrong line. The person in front of me has 42 items, exact change from 2003, and a coupon that almost works. The cashier, meanwhile, is calm, fast, and spiritually untouchable—an icon. And yet… I leave with full bags, lower prices than Key Food, and just enough money left to convince myself I made a responsible choice. ShopRite isn’t just a grocery store. It’s a budgeting strategy. It’s a character-building experience. It’s where unemployed people with time and hope go to feel productive. Would I return? Absolutely. Because groceries are cheaper, and I’ve got nowhere else to be.
